AHH Bean Bag Chair Filling Stars in Music Video
Posted on Sunday, 03 October 2010
I never thought I'd see the day when our bean bag filler became rock stars, but I guess pigs are flying today! Hundreds of our teeny tiny polystyrene (styrofoam) beads are starring in Animal Collective's "Bluish" music video.
Director Jason Oliver Goodman, one of my few "celebrity" facebook friends, creates an airy, surreal out-of-this world video where our bean bag filler co-stars with beautiful glowing-eyed women, ethereal belly dancers, star people, and other dreamy characters. I'm pretty sure the bean bag fill is supposed to represent a field of stars. Bluish is the kind of song that you can float away with while relaxing in bed daydreaming or if you need to get away from the bustle happening outside your bubble on wheels (also known as your car). Not at all sleepy, it's got a very contemporary vibe. And lest I forget to mention the gazillion bubbles that my daughter went crazy over. Lots of tiny bean bags floating around perhaps? Everything is bean bags to me!The music itself is calming, a bit eery, and is a favorite song to be added to my IPod! Watch this super-cool video on youtube now: Animal Collective Bluish. Enter a comment on youtube and let the director know you think his use of the bean bag filling is awesome!Yours truly, Jade
